  • Apply what you learn from other niches to horse and rodeo photography

$20 Challenge

  • Take a $20 bill to a vintage store
  • You never know what you will find
  • Find something that is $25 or less and negotiate it down to $20 or less
  • Take it home
  • Photograph it on your table or in your barn
  • Set up a scene
  • Shop your house for props
  • Practice using strobes, speed lights, or any light source you have
  • Post to social media using the #20dollarchallenge #equinephotoschool
  • Practice with the intention of learning a skill
  • Practice lighting an object with one light then two then three lights.
  • Go out into nature. Get wide and move in close. Zoom in and step back.
  • Take a product into nature with you. Maybe even a toy figure. Bryor horses work great for this too.
