Who am I?
I’m Olie Moss, I ran Olie’s Images for about 7 years. I recently retired Olie’s Images from doing event photography. Now, I’m focused on building Equine Photo School to help you learn how to be successful too!
I grew Olie’s Images from zero fans to over 17,000 total social media fans. It’s not a huge number, but it’s a highly targeted customer base of mostly customers. We were consistently selling more than 16,000 images annually..

First, you have to make things that people want to buy. No amount of advertising can force people to buy things. Let’s assume your pictures are already sought after.
Where do your customer already spend time and attention?
Examples of posts that tend to do well.
- Ask questions.
- Submit their own photos that they have already purchased from you.
- Emotional posts
- Exciting new things
Post that don’t do well
- Posting hundreds of photos at once
- Posting a link to your website telling people to check out their pics
- Posts off topic / out of niche.
Be a real person!
No one wants to be sold to constantly. If you show up as your authentic real self, people will know and you’ll naturally get better over time. People appreciate authenticity.
Videos and Live Streaming can be great for engagement and a great way for people to get to know you better. Don’t be afraid to point that camera at yourself and hit record. Better yet, hit “GO LIVE” and don’t worry if you freeze up the first time, you’ll get the hang of it. Going live is my personal favorite thing to do.
Speaking of going live, I’m doing regular office hours. Check out FB for more details. Facebook.com/equinephotoschool
